years back and had an e-mail asking what a 585 Nyati is. It is supposedly the most powerful shoulder fired round there is. With 10,000 foot pounds of energy and 180 foot pounds of recoil, it is all the fun you can stand. We built 10 or 12 of them for folks that love abuse. Here it is. left to right, 30-06, 416 Rigby and 585 Nyati

Ross Seyfried special. I always kinda wanted a .505 Gibbs but finally made myself understand ''what for'' and left it at that.

Me too, and I got one. Glad I did. It's awesome.

I got one of Gary’s 500NE Encore barrels a few years ago

It’s a bear bones rig just over 6 lbs. recoil is around 150lbs but it has not bit me yet. The trick is keeping the front hand on the forearm, the gun wants to strip my hand every time. Just pull the trigger and go for a ride. LOL. I should bring it to the HHC and let everyone play with it!

We had/have them in .470 and .500, get them to 10 lbs.

by adding weight to the stocks and a longer eye relief scope. You really should not put a scope on them with an eye relief less than 6". It could truly injure someone. We always make sure folks understand to move back on the stock.

With the weight added it's a long push. Fun but not painful, takes a little practice to do it right. Pistol bullets and Trail Boss is fantastic.

I have a Megabeast in 470NE that is a joy to shoot

The 500NE is just for kicks. It has iron sight so no worries there. I may get Gary to put a fastfire on it.

a good friend of mine had you make him a big

caliber bolt action. It was a 500 something. Real accurate but like a punch in the nose if you didn't hold it right.
