50 Alaskan Encore Pistol - Speaking of heavy recoil...

Picked up the Saturday Sale Encore Action today from my LGS. Put the 50 Alaskan Encore Barrel on it that I'd bought from a previous Saturday Sale.

It was a bit stiff to open and close at first, but quickly worked fine. A sure sign the barrel was built for zero slack.

Also decide to put on a Pachmayr grip and forearm. These just fit me better. A steel scope base, Warne Steel Rings and a 30mm Ultra Dot completed the package.

Anxious to try it out after the Loc-Tite has it's required 24 hours...
