I received word from Adele Dabrowski that Caudencio, the Instructor at Mama Twyla's Computer Center now has an Assistant! Adele wrote:

I don't know if you are aware but Caudencio is getting a classroom assistant for the computer classes. We agreed to it when we were in Pemba, as there is enough in MTCC's account to finance the assistant. He is doing very well, and I spoke to Janaina about the possibility of having two levels, one for complete beginners and another for intermediate students... I think that would be really good... what do you think? In any case it wouldn't be now until the beginning of next year...

I hope to soon have some photos from Adele of the Graduation ceremony last month, when the then-current class was graduated. When I get them I will share them with you all.

I am praying about traveling to Mozambique this next year. I would like to be there in June when another class graduates from MTCC. Please pray with me about this trip.

My other prayer request is for Catarina. She is the lady who took care of Twyla and I in Pemba, cleaning our house, helping with meals at times, doing yard work and most importantly, being a close friend.

After the cyclone hit I was concerned about her and wanted to know how her house withstood the storms. Some friends tried to contact her but she was not in her house. Over the next month various ones tried to find her. All they could find out was that she was ill. Eventually they discovered she had gone north to find some traditional healers.

This last week my friend Estefano sent another of my friends, Sergio, to Mocimboa da Praia and found her. She is gravely ill and has lost a lot of weight. Sergio persuaded her to return to Pemba. When she heard I was concerned she decided to return to Pemba. She will go to the Hospital there and hopefully we can find out what is wrong.

I know that most of their medicine is free, especially for serious things, but I am sending some funds that were given to me to help her. Please pray for her. As soon as I know what is wrong with her I will let you know.
