First we got another big batch of books in a day or so ago. Some really special books too.
First Hamilton Bowen's great book on Custom Revolvers. This book has it all and is an instant collectors item. It is as new..sale $40

Teddy Roosevelt's African Game Trails..a 2 book selection...This is the second printing from 1920 or so..They are as new...$35 The dark spots are shadows from me taking the pics in a hurry.

This book is Classic Colt Peacemakers and has some of the nicest color pictures of any book I have seen...$25

Next is another collector's item. Wilson's book of the Colt. Colt, the American Legend. This book sold for $65 back in 1990 or so and I have seen them listed at $100 new today. It is a big thick book full of color pics of every Colt made...$40

Next is the Chuck Taylor book on Combat Submachineguns and Shotguns, a must for every military buff...$20

Next is one of the most amazing books on handgunning ever. It is Ed McGivern's Fast & Fancy Revolver Shooting. This dumpy little man was the fastest man alive with a handgun and most of his records have never been broken. Records like 5 shots double action in less than half a second and all in a 3 inch group at 20 feet. He taught combat shooting to the military and FBI. A great book. $35

Next is Famous Pistols and Handguns. It goes over some of the most unusual and famous handguns in history..$20

Next is another huge book, Fighting Shotguns. Every type of shotguns used in wars around the world. $20

Next is Fighting Submachine guns...a book on every type submachine gun from the Mac 10 to the Uzi and beyond..$20

Next is an unusual one. It is A Collection of Fine Colts. It is a large book that was meant to be just a booklet showing guns that were to be auctioned off in the next auction. It was done so well and the pictures so good that it became a collector's item over night. $20

Next is one that you older gentlemen will like. It is Great True Hunts and features hunts by Kirk Douglas, Arthur Godfrey, Roy Rogers and more, all in Africa, back in the day when a lot of movie stars went to Africa. A great book from days gone by..$25

Next is GUNS, a huge book, probably 8 to 10 lbs. As new. A book on every gun ever made. A gun lover's must. $35.

Next is another big hard back GUNS by Dudley Pope. It shows a lot of the older guns in the beginning and up thru the 1950s or so A lot of info here. $20

Next is Handgun Hunting by Mark Hampton. Mark gives us a lot of info here...$20

Next is another large 8 lb hard back, Handguns of the World. This one shows them all, the handguns from every country and more. $30

Next is a book taken from Teddy Roosevelt's notes while in Africa. It is In Africa, another good African hunting book from the past...$20

Another one for you military gun collectors. It is Infantry Weapons of WW2. $20

Next is another handgun hunting book, Hunting for Handgunners, by Larry Kelly and J.D. Jones. Another great handgun book...$20

Next is Kuhlhoff on Guns, an older gun writer back when we didn't have all the gun magazines we have today. A little of everything here. $20

Next is another bug heavy beauty. It is Steel Canvas. A huge book full of pictures of custom full engraved guns. It was $65 back in the early 90s..These days it is normally $90 to $100..now $40.

Next is Streetsweepers, an interesting book on every kind of "home" defense book to keep bad guys at bay...$20

Next is U.S. Combat Shotguns. The guns used in every war the U.S. was in from WW2 on..interesting book...$20

Next is a gathering of Teddy Roosevelts hunts. The Wilderness Hunter $20

And finally I saved the best for last. This is the original 1909 Teddy Roosevelt's African Game Trails. This is the rare one. The cover is worn but everything inside is fine. I saw 2 of these on the internet at $250 and $315. They were in a bit better shape than this one is, so this one is sale priced at $75.And again the dark spot is a shadow from me taking the pictures.
