Good notes & I took the new Grandkids

My oldest finally married his GF of five years last month. She has two kids from a previous marriage so I guess that makes me and the wife Grandparents now. Anyway, the wife rounded them all up tonight and fed everyone and when I arrived home from work we loaded them in the truck and took them shooting. It was kind of fun to see my oldest showing them the ropes with the same chipmunk 22 rifle he learned on when he was little. I have a Ruger ‘liberty’ blackhawk in 45 colt I brought along to show them and busted 5 for 6 clay pigeons at 25 yards with it. They were excited to see a ‘cowboy’ gun but at 9 & 8, they didn’t want to shoot it. I should have brought a 22 pistol! A great evening overall and enjoyed seeing the rising generation take an interest in shooting! Someone has to inherit all this junk someday. I hope it will go to grandkids and not some pawn shop!
