I've posted several times about those who live negative...

Lives. Of course, we all have our moments and days. So, wanted to share my Saturday with the Misfits.

I posted yesterday that I'd bought the S&W 625. A friend was selling some guns to accomplish something else. I also bought a NIB Ruger Wrangler in the same deal.

I haven't been shy about my disdain for these guns, but not important.

Have a young man lives not far down the road who has some challenges. I won't air his business, but he has several upcoming surgeries. He has been telling me he wanted one of the Wranglers, but was saving his money for operations.

Today, I decided to give the gun to him. He is of legal age and working. It seemed like the thing to do. Some argue, but I believe God clearly communicates. Prayer, in my opinion, requires listening more to what God wants from us than telling him what we want from him.

Shortly after returning home, another friend called me. He told me he had 1000 NIB R-P Brand Auto Rim Brass he didn't need if I'd come get them. I was very glad to do so. Got a magazine today with a nice write up by JT about just these guns.

While I was gone to get the brass, another friend stopped by and left a zip lock bag full of moon clips and a loading tool for the gun.

Days like this are why I get so aggravated about the gloom and doom focus. I believe we are truly what we choose to be.

Just my opinion...

Prayer, in my opinion, requires listening .....

more to what God wants from us than telling him what we want from him.

AMEN AMEN
It takes time for some of us to learn that ... wish I had learned it younger.

I tend to talk in riddles. Of course, my point was...

Galatians 6:7 (like all the word) is accurate. Many tend to believe this applies only to negative actions. They disregard the fact that if you do good, it comes back to them just as the not so good. Then, without exception, are victims.

Good posts you guys.

That's been made more aware to me recently too. Of course God knows we're praying for the little kid in church with cancer or Jim's friend in Mozambique. What's important is that we're open and listening to Him.

Inspirational!!! Thank you H!

negative crap in this country of ours that I don't need to add to it. For one thing there is nothing we can do about it and secondly all the negative stuff does is ruin my day. I will admit to being guilty of posting things that are a bit negative but usually after I read it, I try to go back and delete it. There are so many things the dems are doing that really tick me off and I think about posting them on here but it doesn't change a thing. And I agree with you that negative news does no good and just ruins a person's day.
