Take an aspirin
Put it on the sting
Add several drops of water to soften it
Put bandaid on to keep aspirin in place

Theory is the aspirin absorbs into the sting
Worked when I was a kid.
Bob.

I've even been hit by two Hornets before. That hurt for a couple hours. Worst of all for me is the in the ground Yellow Jackets.

Here in the South Tobacco is the widest known sting remedy. Even a found cigarette butt moistened with what you got and held on the sting like Denning suggested. Grandpappy's partially chewed Red Man was always the best. It went away pretty fast, hurt for a couple days if the treatment was not applied.

Barely hurts now. Welt is silver dollar size.

Maybe painting shirtless with a bunch of stingy things flying around wasn't my best idea. Plus my daughter informed me I got a sunburn on my back. 12 mile canoe trip yesterday and no burn but today I managed to get stung and burned. . .

Got hit 27 times once by yellow jackets

Mom used a baking soda paste on my stings, and gave me some benadryl. Was clearing a place for a new fence and the farmer I was working with cut a nest in half the size of a 15 gallon washtub! Had to beat them off of him with my hat then go pull the kill switch on the tractor ,which luckily had backed up against a tree. Thank God I am not allergic! The Er stopped counting at 100 above the belt on my farmer friend, didnt even bother counting on legs.

DANG

Breaks down the protein-based venom. Wet the sting, put a generous amount of meat tenderizer powder on it, then cover with a bandaid to hold it in place.

favorite action movies. Sip the whiskey and watch the video. It won't help the sting but after half of the movie and half of the Jack you really won't care.
