Reeder Custom Guns - Gary, what is the best way to move a fixed rear night sight

on a glock. Mine shoot about 4-6 inches left at 25 yards. Probably not a big issue, just bugs me. Thank you

But, if you do not have a rear sight tool you can use a brass punch or wooden dowel with a hammer and tap the side of the rear sight. Just be careful not to mar the slide. My Model 19 shot way left when I got it and had to move mine too.

MY son came in complaining how a gun with a modern striker firing system shot consistently to the left. I told him "it" does not shoot to the left YOU do! He grumbled and dismissed my input.

Validation came much later when I overheard him coaching one of his buddies to focus on the hold and squeeze as many shooters pull left just as the trigger releases! We both hit dead on with that same gun now and the sights have never moved. Check your grip, it should be very firm and I brace on the left to prevent that slight pull. The smaller the gun gets the worse it gets too. FWIW

moving tools, most are set for one certain gun. So see if your local gunsmith has a Glock sight moving tool. It puts pressure against one side of the sight and gently moves it over.Never bang on it.
