One is the Rossi 971 and the other the Colt. Can they never come up with something new?
The loyal revolver people were abandoned...

For the "Black Rifle Crazies." Will be interested to see if they can attract them back.
Once folks move on, seems difficult to get them interested again.
I've seen several of the new stubbies and fit/finish is far from terrific. Writers will be paid to pimp then out as the greatest thing since pockets on a shirt. So, we will see.
I'll have a hard time buying one. They go in and out of business, file for bankruptcy, etc so often, Heaven help you if you need a part.
Colt has fallen a long way.

Colt has seemed to flounder since the beginning, yet still keep a foothold, beginning with the throughbore patent for metallic cartridges, never chambering the 45 colt in a rifle, discontinuing the single actions(brought back after others started the trend, then redesigned but never made stronger), no advancement with the .400 colt cartridge, went to 80 series 1911's. Just some observations I've read about, dont personally own any, never seem to grab my attention?
For that amount of money, I have 2 GP!00s
