Time to rejoice. A prayer request follow up!

Just a few posts down I asked for prayer for my Poppa. He had a heart cath this morning. He had a stress test that showed some concern. And the doctor said that he was pretty sure he was going to get a stint. (He has never had one of those or a heart attack. He is on a chlorestoral med.

We are told that it will be at least an hour to wait. In 30 min they call to mother from the door. I go in with her and a nice young lady who was not his Dr. but was somehow involved gave us the good news. He did not need a stint after all. “And by the looks of it, never will!” His Dr comes right in and takes over. “We must have had a false reading on the stress test. In fact, it looks better now than it did 5 years ago.”

I don’t believe in the false reading theory. I believe in the prayer of his friends and family. And the prayers of a group of MISFITS!
