My Nicest Colt SAA 45

Made in 1897, I picked this 1st Generation gun up in a trade. It was a Christy's rebuild from Hollywood. The bore was gone .. the frame had been buffed until all the lettering was gone.
I got parts from Eddie Janis and rebarreled it with a correct barrel. I fitted a 2nd Generation cylinder and then had the gun cleaned up, re-lettered and blued and color cased.
Paul Persinger made the one-piece grips from Bighorn Sheep.

It turned out pretty nice. I shot it quite a bit .. won several Cowboy Action matches using it. Just before I moved to Africa I gave it to my oldest daughter.
