Works lots better if you just don't "look".

Huey is a perfectionist. The kind of guy you WANT designing a boat you are bobbing along in. Baker personally grabbed me by the lapels, at the Y-O event, and warned me not to use LilGun. Too late, I had shot about 3 lbs. of it in just one Ruger Hunter .41 Magnum to my blissful satisfaction. In fact I had sold that gun to Cast Performance Engineering who used it as a test mule to develop their offerings in .41 GNR. Then I bought it back and did the LilGun shooting. The gun has been shot, a bunch.

Since I can only hold it to about 3" groups at 100 yds. (4X Leupold) or so I can't shoot well enough to say the accuracy has been effected or not. But it does not seem to have changed much for me. I have changed the trigger springs and did a free spin pawl job on it, along with changing the grips. It's plausible that it should have improved but I mainly find it is just easier for me to perform. As for me personally I'm going to continue to use it, makes me feel kind of naughty, a rebel. But I don't think the .510 GNR is a good application for it. I use 4227 as it is very linear and progressive beyond what I can stand in recoil. Lots of proven data too. Why reinvent the wheel if you don't really have too. Even if LilGun went faster at lower pressures I couldn't take it.
