Went to the range early this AM ... nice morning .. cool breeze. Wanted to chronograph some levergun loads.
At the range I discovered I forgot the tripod! Don't have anything to set the chronograph screens on.
Oh well .. I will try to loads on targets at 50 yards.
Got set up .. shot the first target... NO TRIPOD .. NO SPOTTING SCOPE!
I think I am coming down with CRS!
But then some brain cells connected for a brief moment and I remembered I had my digital camera with me. It has a 16X zoom!
Rest the camera on the rifle rest, zoom in, shoot the photo ... look at the photo and use the zoom to enlarge it and there they are! Bullet holes! Not all of them were where they were supposed to be ... but I could see them.
Spent the next hour shooting both the levergun and the camera!
