The little .22 autoloader Mr. Taffin tested lately. Roman wanted an OD green one and I paid $10 extra for that. But it is MINE! I was wanting a suppressor ready rimfire that was reliable. Lots of folks make nice .22 pistols for suppressor use, several actually produced by UMAREX for the other manufacturers. I hear they are good but the Taurus is said to be ultra reliable in comparison. I looked at the 1911, M&P Compact, and Walther too. The good reports and rebate helped my decision.

The magazines are more capacious and mimic full sized 9mm training. It comes with the suppressor adapter too. The $50 factory rebate ends in 10 days! They need the serial number and UPC off the box. It's an online form to be submitted. FYI if you are thinking of it you have 10 days.

READ THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING

TO ADJUST THE SIGHTS.

LOL, I remember you mentioned something about that.

I certainly will. My main concern is elevation typically. Some of the cheap stuff has push/pull type. I remember you lost a screw?

I have many .22 handguns. Hard to get me to spring for a "new" anything. I'm open to any trade but to actually buy outright is rare for me. I was attracted to a 9mm size with the same type trigger and operational systems. I don't need to scope anything, nor competition accuracy. I want to screw something on the end, to hit pretty close to where I aim, and go bang every time with any fair quality ammo I use. The test reports look well enough to me. By being thrifty I was able to get it turn key, with rebate, under $250 tax and all.

I still have my BassPro "points". I thought about a tent, theirs were $300, a sleeping bag $150, reloading stuff was sky high and shipping too. I'm going to wait till fall and descend on the storefront's bargain bins! I'll get my "value" if it hair-lips the devil himself. Typically any normal item you may want is full retail and much higher than most other places of purchase. It is a bit of a scam.

That sight is tricky. I'm still confused about

noting clicks and it has no stop? I guess that means it can fall out, as in tall grass?! I once dropped an AMT .44 Automag bolt accelerator in a hay field. I was going to remove every blade of grass in a square meter if that is what it took, I did find it!
