never did make the Ruger Std. Auto in 9mm Luger. I'm certain he could have used some genius to sort a delayed blow back system to maintain the same profile. Back then though 9mm was a foreign oddity for military bring backs.
It would be a shocking blast if Ruger decided to market a centerfire 5-shot "Wrangler" in 9mm at a low price point. THAT's the kind of stuff the old man would have done.
