Local shop has one for sale. Looks new, but haven't been made for a while. Anyone have one or had one?

The barrel is on the bottom. I have an old Bayard .32 ACP like that, and S&W copied way before with the Escort .22. I think they are cool, we’rt they made in AZ? I remember something about the slides being cold swaged? Maybe I’m full of prunes.

Sounds fun. They had a cheap one with plastic grips and fancy one with wood sticks and adj. sights.

It has run every brand I've feed it. Pretty durn accurate too.

I gave my daughter one for Christmas several years ago

She lives in California and some yoyo broke into her apartment and stole it. When she reported it to the cops they were going to arrest her for having a non registered handgun. I had to go thru hell and a lot of notarized paperwork to keep her out of jail. Of course the cops never even tried to get her handgun back for her.
So yes, the gun is a good one and if she ever moves out of California I will give her several handguns including a new S&W 622..
