But the Vivitar Action Cam (Go Cam - $40) are great. I have used them and even put them on guns.
These videos were likely done with them.

Luckily I've never had to pull the footage but it's peace of mind. It just plugs into the cig lighter and activates when I turn the vehicle on. It loops over footage so once the memory is full it just starts recording over the oldest saved video. And I access it through an app on my phone.
