My Frankenstein platform. A G21 converted to about anything you can think of. Here in a 6” 9mm Luger using a 11# recoil spring, G20 conversion barrel, and a cheap optic mount I found. I’d not try it on heavier recoiling applications but it seems fine here. Usually very reliable using 10mm mags for the 9x19. Using 115 gr. an occasional failure to feed, 124’s are better for practice. I like shooting 147/158 gr. at 1000-1100 fps, they work great. The barrel is conventional rifling so ok. Just for cheap fun and gong ringing. I’ve modded the trigger system but would like to try a Timminy. I have barrels in .45/.460, 10/.40, this 9, and I’m poised to play with .357 as well. I’ve done much the same with my G23, using it in 9mm and .357, but no optics. With conventional rifled barrels cast bullet shooting is great. Toolish but resilient and rife with aftermarket fun.

sheep's clothing that you bought a while back, a trap gun disquised like a quail gun Keep the loads below 1 1/4 and shot size 6 or above and it will shoot great

I did bring it to Thanksgiving gathering to show. After the meal when the men wander outside. lol

I’m working on resurrecting my old 3/4-1 oz. Pet loads using Red Dot and Winchester wads in Fiocchi hulls. I ended up with a brace of SK and Full chokes, one I/M choke. Is that one tighter than modified or in-between mod. & imp.?

is .005 skt 010 imp cyl 015 lit mod 020 mod .025 improved mod .030 lit full .035 full .040 ext full. this is all based on the start bore dia of the particular barrel you are measuring, ie browning typ starts at .742 your skb will be in the 740 range I would think

very low brass and all plastic innerds. I figured they would be fun to load using the bright orange winchester wads I could see through the hulls. I was trying to load a 20 gauge target load in a 12 ga hull to get a very short shot string. I hoped performance would exceed a good 20 in my Citori 12. It seemed to work.

I think it was a 3/4 oz. load and 17.5 gr. or so of Red Dot. I was getting around 1100-1150 fps, right in the target load range. You can see through the hulls though, that is neat. I also loaded some 1 oz. LEE cast slugs in the same wads and load. Made a nice low recoil and accurate slug load.
