I can tell he’s really jazzed!
“The cat ran up a small steep hill in thick brush maybe 15 yards away. I couldn’t see it but it was snarling and hissing. I waited 10 minutes. Reloaded. And slowly started to climb on my knees with my gun out front. Move 2 feet wait 30 seconds and look. When I saw the cat it wasn’t moving and looked dead but I didn’t believe it. I was on my knees and it was uphill from me. With one hand I tugged its tail. The other hand with my gun. Its head fell towards me and I almost shot it again. Just gravity. Most exciting hunt of my life.”

U.S. there is. In most cases you have to run up hill for what seems like a mile before the cat trees. Then you have to get up close enough to take a shot. If the dogs are at the base of the tree he might not jump down and run. But if he sees you he will usually jump down and run again before he trees the second time.
That is a great cat. What caliber?
