Some odd things announced you might have overlooked...

I know GNR likes the value of the Taurus line. A new 10mm 4.25" semi-auto 15 shooter, 28.5 oz. with interchangeable backstraps.

A new "Ranger" .22 LR levergun, from WINCHESTER of all folks! Looks fantastic to me.

EAA has a longslide 10mm. Should be a good value and starting platform. I'm sure slicked up, with some love, it could be a shooter.

I'm not a fan but a young shooter in my home, who is spoiled to nice things, is really not into lever guns. Of all things this interests him. If it catches the eye of young shooters, who am I to throw shade? I just won't look. Aero industries furniture for levers.

He really likes this type of nonsense. An Aluminum chassis 5" barrel (to be suppressed) 12 ga. Yee-haw.

predicted that the SHOT SHOW would be all new stuff this year with very little AR-15 guns and accessories. He was completely wrong. I think at least 2/3 of the gun booths and accessory booths were covered with AR-15 guns and accessories. Usually we hit the SHOT SHOW but the last couple of years we have passed on it for personal reasons. That being the show has turned into a concept show. The manufacturers build one gun that has all new features and show it to the 80,000 people that hit the show. Then if it doesn't get enough ooohs and aahs they drop it and tell the public they never made it. The old shows were for dealers to come and see the new products and make our yearly purchases at that time. Unfortunately that is no longer the way things are.

But if you are an AR fan and a fan of new handguns that all look the same, there are plenty of new guns and such to keep you drooling.

Like so many guns on the current US market

The Winchester and EAA (I think) are made in Turkey. I’m sure on the Winchester.
