Fell into a small deal on a little Beretta

A little M21A I thought my Daughter might like as a purse gun. She was not really interested, wants a bigger rig. But it was a deal from a friend. I used to have one in .25 ACP years ago. It was anemic but utterly reliable. The .22LR sounded interesting since it’s cheaper to shoot. It hits point of aim but I can tell it will be finicky with ammo. I want to try my old stand-by, CCI Stingers. With Winchester I had some failures to fully eject. Ammo needed some more poop to eject.

I was wondering about the Aquila 60gr. Sniper .22 LR ammo. It’s basically a .22 short case with a long, long, bullet to give an OAL of a LR round. I think it might provide the added slide inertia as well as provide a shorter case to eject. I might try a box if I can find them.

The little Beretta is fat and a little bigger than my pocket .380!

The fail to feed Winchesters hung on the fired case

That was about half-way out. I my thinking is a “short” case would clear much easier. I also figure the 60 gr. Might push longer on the slide. I’ll have to see if they work and hit point on as well.
