I know there are some very good "new" powders out there

The Longshot comments got me thinking. What new powders do you think may be similar, or superior to like old standbys.

Is "Longshot" the better, newer that might satisfy old loads using "Unique"? (it increased my magnum shotshell loads 200 fps at the same pressures!)

"LilGun" has had some bad press, but in larger than .357 and less than compressed loads I think it may be better than the old "H110/296"?! (I shot up about 4 lbs. before anyone complained, I'll never shoot good enough to know)

I love "4227", is there a new one to try that mimic's it's characteristics?

I have been using a lot of Accurate 11FS the last couple of years. It is basically W296/H110 with a flash suppressant added. This came about by requests from the 300 Blackout crowd. The added suppressant makes the powder just a "tick" slower than W296/H110 and slightly boosts velocity in most reported loads. If you can't find load data for it, data for W296H110 can be used.

The best thing about the powder is it's several dollars a pound cheaper than W296/H110.

That sounds great! Thanks!
