A blued one like that stainless on the "in-stock" list. It is amazing. The .40 S&W is a fantastic revolver round. You can seat the bullets to 10mm OAL and load full power 10mm in the cheaper .40 S&W brass. They are a fraction of the cost.

I was pushing 155 gr. JHP at 1250+ fps just coasting. I can do it in both .40 OAL or extended 10mm OAL too.

The little guns weigh about 32-34 oz. unloaded which is lighter than even a .357 chassis. But still hefty enough to manage the recoil. I cannot imagine Ruger ever trying those 9mm or .40's. Get them while you can...

Scotty i was contemplating the 9mm also. But ended up --

pulling the trigger on the 40.I shoot a lot of Cast,Coated bullets, should be a lot of fun!

The .40 is often overlooked! It’s great.

Folks give me all the .40 brass I want, trash to them. 10mm is $30 a hundred. Like I said just load to 10mm OAL and a 10mm charge. It shoots perfectly from my Glock 20 as well! I’ve not had any bullet pull issues either. I also shoot it in my Clements converted 10mm GP100. Gary made me an extra cylinder for my .401 GNR in .40 S&W. If you know you know!

Thanks for the info. Have 170gr SWC that shoot really well

I also load .401 Herters and .38-40

Both are ancient, original, 10mm’s. Very pleasant to shoot and a nice “between” from the .357 and .44 (.43) magnum. Gary’s .401 GNR is fantastic too. In the single shot I’ve played with the .400 GNR. I need to do more with it but needed the Starline thin wall .38-55 brass.

10mm bore is a hoot!
