I really like the .475. I switched to .510 a while back but in practical terms the .475 is better. The LEE 300 gr. and 400 gr. bullets are great. The 400 gr. is a plain base but up t0 1200 fps who needs it. The 300 is a gas check design and you can make it scream.

That Reeder gun has the interchangeable front sight base. Lots of options for gold bead, fiber, or blade. I'm really liking a partridge and fiber light front. I can pretty much see those. The V-notch rear works best in the field, a little difficult to shoot paper with it. You over think it.

That is a beautiful, powerful gun that will last a lifetime.

Hopefully will see some action on the

I've wanted a Linebaugh cartridge for years. I would have went with .500 Linebaugh, but since I already have a BFR in .500 JRH AND I already load .480 Ruger, I figured I'd keep it to those ...and not start a new cartridge requiring all new dies/molds/etc..

Thanks, again!

I've lurked here a bit, and went through Reeder's site a LOT over the years. I just never seemed to be in a position to commit .

I'm really not in that shape, now...but I did it, anyway. I'm certain this won't be my first and /or only.:-D
