. . . to design a "top break" revolver capable of handling the .454 cartridge. It assuredly wouldn't resemble the old ones we're familiar with, but it's "possible". Engineers with CAD design and modern materials are amazing. Might be ugly as sin, of course, and very nasty to fire, but still . . .
