The sized down 41 Magnum bullets won't chamber in Gary's tight chambers. This makes sense since it is a custom chamber and shoots so well.
So, I'll order Lee Sizers from their Custom Shop in .404" and .400". This will size them down in two increments and will be able to final size them .401" or .400".
Gary has built me two 38-40s and working on the third now. A fourth 38-40 Reeder is planned on a Super Redhawk Frame.
So, the need for bullets isn't going away...
