I've had a 14" Contender in 25-35 Ackley for 25 years...

It easily shoots a 100 grn to 2800 fps. Accuracy is sub 1" at 100 yards.

I've always heard about the weak 30-30 case. But, that is straight up B.S. I've reloaded those 25-35 Ackley 15+ times.

In my opinion, it's the best case for the Contender platform.
