The box says the bullets are 100 grain Core Lokt. I have found them to be accurate but the recoil is sharp with them. I shot my 45-70 a bunch at the HHC in October and the recoil from it was only a little more than the 243. I wonder if I should try some hand loads with the partition bullets and start at a grain over minimum and see what they is like. What say you to that idea? Good or not good?
