Mine was a Browning Nomad in 1979. Given to me by an Uncle. I was 14 years old. It's still in my safe today.

Later that year (August) I bought my first centerfire. A Ruger Security Six 4". Years of reading my Dad's 1951 Gun Digest that made the 357 Magnum sound awesome to a young teen. Wrecked engine blocks, oh yeah!!!
