A Volquartsen carbon wrapped bull profile with brake. Some fancy Benz chamber or something. The boys were shooting it and it did just as you said. I did not want them to have an accident forgetting to triple check it.

So I ordered a Volquartsen extractor kit. When it came it seemed to look IDENTICAL to the factory extractor. But I installed it anyway. It may have been my ammo as it has not done it since. Perhaps a maintenance issue of keeping the chamber cleaner?

Manually keeping the 10/22 chamber held open might be even more prudent.
