the owner has "field stripped" it and either lost parts or broken a part trying to get it back together. There is a lot of bad info on the net telling people to field strip and clean there gun after every shooting session. That is absolutely not true. Clean your gun when it needs it, when the slide feels gritty and slower than normal and keep all the oil totally out of the gun. Oil just attracts dust, sand and grit and becomes a grinding compound and ruins your gun. Use a clean dry brush in the bore. A tiny bit of gun grease underneath the slide will be all that gun needs. Keep it simple and your gun will live longer.
