Based on today's numbers, so far in the US we have documented 1.2 million cases of Covid 19, This is 0.3% that's three tenths of one percent of our population. Deaths are at 69,579 or .02% that's two hundredths of one percent. These numbers seem somewhat low to me so I looked at the 2017-2018 flu data. It showed an estimated 45 million flu cases which was 14% of the US population and 61,000 deaths were attributed to the flu just under two hundredths of a percent. Just saying, not enough data for a scientific comparison yet. Flu data was for a whole flu season. We need to see how long of a Covid 19 season we have to see how it really compares.
