shoots factory Federal 500gr softs and factory Federal 500gr monolithic solids nearly into the same hole at 50 yards w/o touching the sights. It shoots and handles amazingly well without any recoil dampening assistance. Its a full custom #1 that really has very few equals and well worth the price paid. I may bring it to the next HHC, along with my 505 Gibbs(which does have a mercury tube in the stock). The 470NE and the 505 Gibbs make for quick work on anything roaming the planet...and are just a hoot to shoot.
