I like the idea of a pistol caliber carbine. Some type of 9mm or the like in an autoloader.

The Ruger 9mm autoloaders look nice and I can get them in this disgusting state( Saturday believe it or not there was a BLM gathering in the center of my old home town. The new chief of police actually participated in uniform and was lying on the ground like the other useful idiots. Disgusting in my mind. My old town went to hell. )

I like the idea of that and mating it with an SR series Ruger so you have the same magazines.

Another sleeper is the M1 Carbine.

I know it is an odd ball but with an upper picatinny guard that can take a small red dot it would be a nice suburban defense gun.
