My wife is new to guns. I took her out a couple weeks ago to try shooting my SP101 with +P .38 cartridges. Unfortunately, her wrists are weak from previous breaks and it was too much for her. She wants a handgun that she can use for self defense. I prefer a revolver since it's a pull trigger and it shoots rather than a pistol which may be difficult for her to work the slide.
The next time I'm going to try her out with a revolver I've got that shoots .30 S&W Longs...
Does anyone have any other ideas??? She wants something that she can use should someone break into our house and she's home alone.
