You cant pick another person's gun. Especially one that will be carried daily. If she is serious about it recommend a good gun shop that won't try to do what everyone here is. Just get out the way.
We get all caught up in caliber and terminal ballistics because we are gun nerds... If you introduce a hot piece of metal traveling at "high" velocity into something it's gonna be better than your hands.
It's a personal choice that should be exercised by the individual.
If you want to help, invest in a high quality holster once she makes the decision on her gun. Barranti Leather or Simply Rugged would be where I'd start
