Had plenty of 9mm ammo. But, got two more boxes of the Federal Synthetic Costed stuff with the gun. My favorite bullet design of FMJ combined with a fairly wide flat nose.

Gun functioned well with the ammo. Shooting freehand, I kept a magazine full in 5" at 20 yards. My arms were moving like I was directing traffic. Still, I was satisfied. The exceptional trigger made a huge difference. I have several Glocks with target triggers in them and this one at least as good as them.

After reading Gary's Notes, I figured it was time to add another defense gun. I've never really had any to speak of. Times, they are a changing.
