This stuff works great. I bought the 9mm 150 grn FP stuff. It's rated at 890 fps, but clocked 920+ fps from the Canik.
Basically, a polymer coated lead bullet. It's touted as target ammo for hard impact on steel. IMHO, if it hits hard on steel, then...
Gary has already highlighted where I'm going. The lack of penetration of HP Bullets and harder impact from the FN Bullets. These look like overgrown 22 LR rounds put thru the Reeder FP Tool.
The Foot Pounds of Energy on paper are not flashy. But, several informal tests tell me they'd be great for self defense where one wanted to play serious. A cast FN Bullet with a low friction coating.
