Today, I'm 66, retired, and have zero-to-no trust in local LEOs here in SW FL. A church friend is a LT. field night shift supervisor. Before COVID I asked him the same situational scenario, his answer: swiftly leave the way you came and find shelter in a open business, if possible. You were not there.
Shame, but this NOT the Old West, literally, DO NOT get involved.
