Perhaps the most evolved .380 are the CZ82 and 83 models. DA/SA with cocked with locked capability and double-stack magazines. Discontinued some years ago but still available pre-owned. They are made of made of steel, rugged, and as reliable as a hammer. Uses the Walther PP/PPK system for disassembly.
CZ83 was also available in .32ACP. Mine is 15 shot capacity though mags are tougher to find. Again, all steel and has the recoil of a desk stapler. Higher visibility fiber optic front sights available if you look online.

Beretta 86 in .380 had the tilt-up barrel, ala smaller caliber models 950, 21A, and 3032. Great for folks with issues racking slides to chamber a round.
Beretta 84 was double-stack and 85 was single stack.
Beretta 81 was .32 ACP. A few months ago several online surplus gun retailers were pushing them hard.
