I have continued to work (play)with this rifle. I have been shooting 250 and 225 grain jacked bullets with it as well as some I cast with an old Lee mold producing a bullet that weighs about 250 grains. It is accurate enough that I put a small 1x-4x scope on it to take full advantage of the accuracy. With the scope I can keep them on a 6 inch steel plate at 200 yards. 100 yard groups are running under 2 inches. I wasn't doing so well with iron sights. 77 year old eyes may have something to do with that. I love lever guns and shooting this one is the most fun I have had with a rifle in a while.
