I recall in my young adult years a man named Ronny. He was a WW2 vet who told us many stories.

He told us that when he did house to house fighting in Germany the worst were the Hitler Youth. Those teen age boys were completely brainwashed into thinking that Adolph Hitler was a god and they fought like banshees for him. Sad to say they had no choice but to give zero quarter for them.
