I have a Marlin 44/40 like alot of Marlins

The loading gate is quite stiff. I found an aftermarket one that is pretty snazzy. They also make triggers and what not.
It is Ranger Point Precision. They used to make all kinds of other pistol calibers off the Marlin 1894, like the 10mm but they licensed it out.
