but they are pricey. I'm with WB, I think $400-500 is a fair bid for a parts gun right now. A tangent, but if you don't have to have an original WWII/Korea Carbine I think postwar commercial '60s-'70s guns still run cheaper. I picked up a very good condition Universal Enforcer for under $400. Silly but fun.
I remember the early '90s when SKSs were $100 or below. I'm sure there are guys on here who can tell tales of the pre-GCA days when e.g. an Enfield could be had for around $15...
