Sure. They are not for everyone. I'd certainly not

suggest them for your average women or anyone who might have a limp wristing shooting technique. They are so small and light that they need a firm grip to kick against. Actually all small semi-autos are that way but the lighter and smaller they are the more sensitive. I know it makes gun dealers bonkers when a lady buys a $800 SIG and brings it back as unreliable for them.

Kahr says in the manual to shoot at LEAST 200 rounds before you start bitching! LOL This is to allow some break in and seating of springs. Plus I know it allows the customer to get accustomed to the gun too, but they don't list that.

Kahr's claim to fame is the heavy round with the lightest reasonable platform, and great sights. Sort of like a VW Bug with a Hemi in it! It requires a little extra consideration. The .40 Cal versions are simply rude to shoot. The .45 with 230 gr. ball is fine. Even the 9mm and .380 sting a bit as they are even smaller for the calibers they shoot. Have you ever shot a baby Browning .25 ACP? OUCH!

Jeff Quinn's excellent write up is still online. He kind of favored them, that's saying a lot. The .45 Compared to a snubby J-frame (like Jim's). My GI 1911 Mags work fine.
