It has a fluted stainless med.weight sporter barrel, welded bolt, the safety thing, drilled and tapped for modern scope. But the trigger guard and floor plate still has the Waffen stamps on it. She's a smooth shooter.
My other custom is a .30-06 on a 1908 DWM action done for the Brazilian Army prior to WWI. That's the only Mauser part on it, the frame. The guard and floor plate is re-worked 1909 hinged. As you can tell I like Mauser 98's. I think we have a Turkish 8mm around her someplace.
