,.. but way down on the list is a nice custom 30-06 on a German M98 action. I'd even possibly go 8mm-06 and keep the military stepped barrel if it was a really nice gun. My other milsurp dream sporter is a sportered up Enfield in 303 made up like a knock off Lee Speed with a really shot mag. I've let a few nice enfields go before that "ah ha" moment.
