The .32 WSL was basically a rimless .32-20 with a 170 gr. .321’ bullet in it! Beginning in 1905 and that little rifle. Folks shot bears with it! No one told them they couldn’t. It is interesting with such a bullet!

It would be difficult to say it’s more effective when stuck in a .30-30 case compared to the .308 projectile. I’ve read the bores got shot out of early .32 Specials really fast.
