I stripped it and got it pretty well cleaned up. The bolt closed with a lot of resistance when you had a cartridge in it. I traced that to the extractor. It was rough and not beveled correctly. Got that cleaned up and it sure works a lot smoother.
Made a gauge to check the firing pin protrusion. I never had one of the tools that were issued with these by the military. The tool has a gauge built into it. So I made one.

Loaded about 30 rounds for it. 15 with the 125 gr. .311" AK bullet and the rest with 170 gr. Sierra and 180 gr. Remington round-nose bullet. I loaded a few 125 gr. AK bullets with 8 gr. of Unique. They should be fun.
