Not the T-Chinese versions. I know Jim don't care and has a greater purpose, but to warn others. Those bayonet tabs he trimmed cost $100 each in value to the gun. You may not want to "modify" your gun if it is an investment project. Just saying. The 44's are running around $400 for a nice one.
I can remember when they were $50 each just a couple decades ago. SKS were $59 a copy, those ugly French guns that no one wanted too. All that has dried up globally and the collector market is back in swing.
Jim's gun is special to him and he's having fun with it. Keep us posted! Don't get upset if the bullets hit the target sideways. Surplus rifle loading can be a challenge and is often "fun".
